Sales Manager DACH (Life Sciences Industry) FILLED

Our Client

Our client, a fast-growing consultancy group with a presence in the (Bio-) Pharmaceutical, High-end food, Oil, Gas, and Chemical industries, is seeking a Sales Manager to manage and acquire clients in the DACH region.

Your primary responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding business with existing clients within Switzerland, Germany, and Austria while acquiring new clients and projects in existing and new markets. You will work as an equal counterpart for international customers at their management, director, and operational levels. Additionally, you will maintain and expand the network of consultants, identifying qualified technical candidates within your network or with Talent Acquisition.

Your team:

As a Sales Manager, you will be part of a team based in Switzerland and work closely with the operational Country Manager and a team of around 20 colleagues. Furthermore, you align with Managers based in the Netherlands. You live in Switzerland or the south of Germany and will regularly travel to visit clients in the region and the head office in the Netherlands at least once a month.

Your profile:

As a Sales Manager, you will have proven experience in sales, account management, talent acquisition or recruitment in the Life Sciences industry, and a relevant network of clients and candidates in the DACH region.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or relevant work experience in commercial, engineering, business administration, or similar fields. You must have at least eight to ten years of experience as an Account or Business Manager, excellent commercial and people skills, and a strong business and technical understanding. Fluency in German and English is required, as is the flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe.
